It's anybody's guess what I'm doing on any given day, and where I even am. Nowadays I primarily work as a radio host, web developer, and pet/house sitter while studying for a graduate degree and working on a few creative projects of my own. My days are never boring and no two are ever the same, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I yeeted myself out of the biotech world and took a few months off work altogether to decompress and knock a few items off my bucket list. Such items include deep-water soloing in Spain, taking classes at Second City Chicago, and camping on the Antarctic Peninsula.
I spent about half a decade in the Boston biotech scene working at Foundation Medicine (2016-2020) and The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard (2020-2022). While at Foundation, a good friend and I founded the PROUD Employee Impact Group, and coordinated the company's first appearance in the Boston Pride Parade in 2019. Over 150 employees came out to march with us.
